It is a stunning album and did satisfy that need for a while but I was in for a huge shock when I bought Sulk a few weeks later, which is beautiful in a completely different way. Goddamn, Zeppelin has some great acoustic ballads.

150 Of The Most Beautiful Songs Ever (4th Edition) Sheet Music By Various

Few songs can compare to the beautiful story told by 39'in the album A Night At The Opera, By Queen. I shall Describe the Story of this song and the reasons why I chose it as the most beautiful song ever. Alsothis is my first answer on Quoraso please forgive if my writing seems rushed or long or boring. You might want to hear the song at least once before reading further. The First Verse: In the year of '39 assembled here the volunteers In the days when the lands were few Here the ship sailed out into the blue and sunny morn Sweetest sign ever seen And the night followed day And the story tellers say That the score brave souls inside For many a lonely day sailed across the milky seas Ne'er looked back, never feared, never cried The Start of the story is set in the year of 39'. A group of volunteers set out on a ship to find New Lands, in the days when the lands where few as is said in the song. They set off for the voyage on a sunny morning. They sail for many a day, across seasand stories were told of them, the few brave who went forwardNever looking back. I skip the chorus for now; I shall come back later. All is well and good till the second verse starts. The first half of the verse goes as such: In the year of '39 came a ship in from the blue The volunteers came home that day And they bring good news of a world so newly born Though their hearts so heavily weigh The Volunteers have returned successful, having discovered a New World. They come back with good news, but with heavy hearts. Some great misfortune has fallen upon them. The next four lines of 2nd verse: For the earth is old and grey, little darling we'll away But my love this cannot be Oh so many years have gone though I'm older but a year Your mother's eyes from your eyes cry to me These four lines redefine the whole Story. Let me ask you now: When is 39'. Or Is it sometime farther back. A time when the Earth was still unexplored, and the volunteers being brave Seamen trying to explore the unknown seas in search of new lands. Most probably you thought something similar. And you would be right, were it not for the last 4 lines at the end of the 2nd verse. Or Even Further into the future, 2239, or 2329. The Volunteers are going on a search for New Worlds, Into Space. The Lands were few, meaning the Earth had started to succumb to overexploitation of resources and the Human race was at a Crisis. They set of on a Voyage into space, sailing the 'Milky Seas', the Milky Way, searching for habitable planets. And they Do find a New World, and Return home, with good news ,but heavy hearts. Now I can Explain their personal tragedies. Yes, the Time Dilation from Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity. For you non geeks and to-be-geeks out there, time dilation is what happens when you move at speeds comparable to the speed of the earth. I could dedicate an entire day to explaining itbut long story short, you move fast, your sense of time gets slower. So what is 1 minute to a stationary person may be one second to you, depending on your speed. The Exact opposite thing happens in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from Dragonball Z. Read it up if you want, and come back. That's what happened to the Volunteers. As they explored the Milky Way, It is inevitable that they had to go at very high velocities to find distant planets. In doing so Time Dilation had a serious Effect on them. So seriousin fact, that they set off in 39', and came back in 39'. They were gone a Whole Century. The last 2 lines of 2nd verse: Oh so many years have gone though I'm older but a year Your mother's eyes from your eyes cry to me The Story now shifts focus from the group of volunteers to a single volunteer. Being young and adventurous, what is the most beautiful song ever joins the volunteers, Leaving behind his beloved. He returns the next centuryto find her to be no more. He finds his daughter still alive, and through her eyes he sees his beloved. Now I Return to the chorus: Don't you hear my call though you're many years away Don't you hear me calling you Write your letters in the sand For the day I take your hand In the land that our grandchildren knew Desperatehe calls for her, through time, telling her to Write your letters in the sand telling her to etch words onto stone or write letters on sand, a message that stands the test of time, which can reach him, For the day I take your hand, in the land of their grandchildren which was once his, but is now theirs. The final lines are: All your letters in the sand cannot heal me like your hand For my life Still ahead Pity me He is pained by the fact that he can hold her hand again, which her letters in the sand cannot give. His Life is still ahead of him, but its is an empty oneand he pities himself. The Human Race has been saved, at the cost of his Love, Snatched away by Time. Apart From the fact that it beautifully Incorporates Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity, the fact that every part of this story, at first appears to describe a Sea Voyage to far off lands, instead of a Space Voyage to Distant Planets is amazing. It is the line : Oh so many years have gone though I'm older but a year that gives a small hint to the Time Dilation that occurs. Lastly I attach here a photo of the great mind who wrote and played this: Brian May, Guitarist for Queen and a PhD holder in Astrophysics. Patnam Subrahmanya Iyer, the prolific Carnatic Classical composer is well known for a lot of wonderful compositions. Threshold becomes an understatement when we add the composition and lyrics into the equation. All you need to do is listen to this wonderful song and spread the beauty and grandeur of Carnatic Classical music till it reaches the masses. Not always catchy, not always brilliantly written, and frequently religious in theme, choral songs are nonetheless in my opinion what is the most beautiful song ever of the most beautiful music ever. Beautiful maybe doesn't quite capture it. Performed here by Rosa Elvira Sierra. One of the most amazing solos ever written, and I'm not the first to think so. Performed here by the Academie vocale de Paris. This is not even modern music, it's Renaissance music, it sounds alien and weird. But when you are sitting in a thousand-year-old cathedral, with the voices of the choir singing this song resonating off the soaring ceilings, you realize that the ancients really knew what they were doing when it came to music. I Hear the Harps Eternalcomposer unknown, but arranged by Alice Parker 1925. Performed here by the Reinhardt University Choir. I'm not sure of the origin of this song, but I believe it was originally a spiritual sung by African-American slaves. Certainly the what is the most beautiful song ever, which talk about reaching peace and the blessed farther shores, would suggest that. Young and Beautiful - Lana Del Rey Born to Die - Lana What is the most beautiful song ever Rey What the Water Gave Me - Florence and the Machine Never Let Me Go - Florence and the Machine Cosmic Love - Florence and the Machine May It Be - Enya Listen to the Wind - Hayley Westenra and all her songs. Hall of Fame by The Script Yeah, you can be the greatest You can be the best You can be the King Kong banging on your chest You can beat the world You can beat the war You can talk to God, go banging on his door You can throw your hands up You can beat the clock yeah You can move a mountain You can break rocks You can be a master Don't wait for luck Dedicate yourself and you gon' find yourself Standing in the hall of fame yeah. Lost by Coldplay Just because I'm losing Doesn't mean I'm lost Doesn't mean I'll stop Doesn't mean I would cross Just because I'm hurting Doesn't mean I'm hurt Doesn't mean I didn't get What I deserved No better and no worse I just got lost Every river that I tried to cross Every door I ever tried was locked Ohhh and I'm. Just waiting 'til the shine wears off. It is unquestionably the best song ever written about a 12-year-old girl dying of bone cancer. There is an adolescent and artless quality to the lyrics. There is no metaphor, no fancy fifty-cent words, no coherent structure. This is a song about grief, about coping with the loss of a loved one, and, deeper still, about reconciling that death with the existence of a just and benevolent God, in Whom the narrator has grown up believing.

Your face and the love from the linden trees, And I remember your eyes. Robertson and the song is about something he went through. They set off for the voyage on a sunny morning. I'd hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded That for me it isn't over. I just wanted to reflect what it feels like. Knowing that he was being comfortable and death would eventually strike made him take stock of how important everyone around him truly is. Normally, I'd ignore the frequent, egregious flaws in my writing. This is a song about grief, about coping with the loss of a loved one, and, deeper still, about reconciling that death with the existence of a just and benevolent God, in Whom the narrator has grown up believing. The film closes with Danny, determined not to lose his friend, tending to a badly injured Ben. I think that's the whole title, anyways it's the last track on Endtroducing. It still gives me the same shivers even now.
